The Gift

I don't understand
how You could have given Your son just for man

You brought Him to the world, and You've given Your word
that He would come to save those who believe in Him

Your love so great, Your love so sweet
we cannot deny, we cannot forget
the Son You gave is Your gift

in the test of times, we call on Him
He's our dearest friend, so faithful and true
I fall on my knees longing for You

gifts are gien in certain ways
but none like this
He was beaten and spat upon, but, He never questioned that day
but, You always knew that He would reign

John 3:16 says.....
for God so loved that world, that He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish
but have everlasting life
